Men's Breakfast Talk Begins With Coffee

WOLLONGONG Church of Christ's impressive line-up of speakers continues in 2008 with the co-founder of Gloria Jeans Coffee speaking at the first Men's Breakfast for the year, on Saturday, February 16.
Peter Irvine follows Andrew Scipione, who attracted more than 200 men from the Wollongong community and beyond last November when he talked about life in and out of the police force.Anyone is invited to the $10 hot breakfasts. Bookings can be made on 4226 5022 or by emailing shawn@wgongcoc.org.Peter started his 40-year business career as a junior at DDB Needham in Sydney.He went on to hold many high level management positions but in 1996 he and business partner Nabi Saleh established the Gloria Jeans Coffee franchise in Australia. There are now more than 410 Gloria Jeans stores and kiosks around Australia and 750 coffee houses in 25 countries around the world.Gloria Jeans has grown to be the largest specialty coffee retailer and one of the fastest growing franchise organisations in Australia.Wollongong Church of Christ Men's Minister Shawn Tyler said Peter would talk about his home, business and Christian life.
