KIAMA Municipal Council is holding a mayoral breakfast on July 29 to launch a new Promote Kiama Project.

The project is a joint venture between the council, the Kiama and District Chamber of Commerce and Kiama Tourism and is funded by the Department of State and Regional Development.

The goal is to produce a single standardised marketing brand for Kiama that can be used to attract visitors, new residents, businesses, and investors.

A promotional booklet has already been produced along with inserts, banners, an image library and various destination-marketing activities.

The guest speaker at the breakfast on July 29 is Simon Pomfret of the Illawarra Regional Information Service who will provide some valuable insight into some of the factors driving the Illawarra economy.
