SOUTH Coast Business Women's Networking Group hosts its second breakfast networking event at Waves at the Beach on Friday.

The group was established in 2006, starting with just six people, to promote the thriving small and home-based businesses run by women in Kiama.

From that small gathering it has grown into a group with more than 50 members.

President Liz Bellette-Stubbs said the network was a terrific way for businesswomen to share experiences and insights.

She invited others in Kiama to attend the anniversary breakfast, which begins at 7am.

"It is a great opportunity to network with other like-minded business owners," she said. "Both men and women are welcome."

Guest speaker will be Wave FM South Coast region director Wendy Gee, who will share her inspirational story of migrating to Australia and becoming a highly successful businesswoman.

Group member Vanessa Moss said it was a great way to get together for good food and networking.

Bookings on 4232 2777 and further information at www.southcoastbusinesswomen.com.au.
